We have negotiated special discounted rates for Microflights’ students through Autos Colonia SL, a local car hire company established for over twenty years. You can collect your car from Palma Airport (no extra charge if you book a car for a week or more), or you can pick it up from the car hire company’s office in ColÚnia de Sant Jordi.
If you’d prefer to pick up your car from Autos Colonia’s office, we can arrange for a taxi from Taxis Colonial to meet you at the airport and take you back there at the end of your course. The cost each way is Ä40 (about £27), which for a 45-minute drive is a good bit cheaper than paying one of the airport taxis to drive you to your hotel – it’s usual, by the way, to add a tip of between 5-10% to the cost.
